Summer holidays

It's the school summer holiday and (apart from the process of moving house) we are really enjoying it.
With summer comes inevitable activity - long days, long walks, garden parties, picnics, outdoor concerts, bouncy castles, face painting, summer balls, weddings, parks, ice cream and this year, sunshine, yes sunshine!
The kids love being able to run around outside all day long. What a difference it makes from trying to entertain them indoors all day in the the depths of winter.
Some pics below of the kids doing some face painting in the garden. I didn't hear from them in over an hour - bliss! I am told that Eleanor was Batman and Alexander painted himself as Spiderman (in fact, they call each other Batman and Spiderman). I didn't get a chance to take a pic of Spiderman - by then I was busy chasing Batman around before she painted the walls black.
