Alexander was my date on our night out in the West End last night. We went to see Mary Poppins, the musical. The son of a friend of ours was playing the part of Michael Banks (one of Mary's young charges), so we ventured into the West End to see his final performance.

It was a fabulous production. Oscar Redif was fabulous in the role. Keep an eye out for him in other productions as I'm quite sure that he is destined for great things. Alexander was absolutely mesmerised by the music, singing, dancing, lights and stage sets. There are only a few other times in his little life I have ever seen him so happy.

He made a great little companion too. A little glimps to things to come, perhaps.

For those of you who have the opportunity of seeing this before it ends - our tip is to go for it! Well worthwhile.
