A New Year begins

Some photosWe had such a lovely Christmas this year. There was just enough activity to keep us happy, but not too much. The kids had a wonderful time and we all got some desperately needed R&R.
Alexander was so excited with all his Christmas loot. He considers himself to be "a very lucky boy", bless him. Lady Eleanor dressed as a princess for Christmas and graced us with her presence. She was very pleased with the Baby Annabelle that santa left her, although she thought that a pony for the garden might have been nice. And Margie Pops loved all the wrapping paper and comotion, but was not all that fussed by the presents.
Although we didn't get our white Christmas in Vienna as planned, we did get some snow in England just after Christmas. Such a treat for the kids to be able to play in the snow over the Christmas break. It was the first time that Eleanor, the self-titled "sneaky snow bunny", had really played in the snow properly. Of course, she loved it.
The girls have now recovered from their Chicken Pox. Eleanor is now refusing to eat chicken in case it gives her the "pops" again.
Margie is pulling herself up, standing against furniture and cruising. She is really trying to play with the others and they are being so sweet with her.
With Christmas now behind us, we now getting stuck into all that this New Year brings. It's off with a gallop already.
