The painted fireman

After a very long winter we are finally having some brighter, warmer weather. This is very exciting for us indeed.
Yesterday we took the kids to a family fun day at the Woodford Rugby Club, where A usually plays on Sunday morning. They were having a charity match and fun fair to raise money for Tourette Syndrome.
Alexander and Eleanor had their faces painted and fuelled themselves up on as much sugar as they could get their hands on. The highlight of Alexander's day was having a go on the fire engine and being allowed to wear one of the helmets. He thought it was so great that he took photos of this to school for show and tell today.
Margaux is really coming along. I think we can say that she is now walking, although still very unsteady. Such a sweet little girl, she is also starting to say a few more things. She tells us that she is "pretty" - melts my heart!
Over the winter I really have to rely on lights for work, but with the increased light, I have actually been able to get out and take some more photos in natural light. This is such an incredible treat for me!
